I have been working at Salem Communications full-time (more than an year)

Opportunity for growth for men and women, management support, training opportunities. Caring and loving environment. Co- workers are great and try to be very supportive of each other.

Benefits are there but at a high cost to the employee. After medical insurance, I am left with less than half of my pay which makes balancing bills a constant struggle. Hourly employees depend on their pay to live and when you have to pay $500+ a month ($750+ if paid 3x within a month) for medical insurance and are only paid $12 an hour, you are left with barely anything to pay for food and housing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hourly employees are not necessarily paid high and lowering their out of pocket expense for medical/dental/vision insurance would dramatically change the turnover percentage.
