I worked at Sam's Club full-time (more than 3 years)Pros
I really enjoyed the people I worked with. We were a tight knit group.
There are plenty of avenues for advancement (depending on the market). My first GM started at Sam's as a cart associate.. If you can withstand the work hours and a few other things, a career with Sam's can be rewarding - especially financially.Cons
Hours, for all employees. It's retail though - this is a given.
The company relies heavily on the revenue generated from upgrading memberships. Be prepared to sell memberships in any position. Management receives a lot of pressure from their superiors about these sales.Advice to ManagementAdvice
