Current Employee - Software Engineer  in  Bellevue, WA
Current Employee - Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA

I have been working at Samsung Mobile full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - job security
    -big name on your resume
    -smart coworkers
-if you're interested in telecommunication, this is the place you can explore your interests
-salary and benefits are great even if you compare to the big companies in US

    Cons

    - if your manager is bad... because of job security, managers won't leave the company. So it's faster to leave the company and get a new job than to change the culture of Samsung..
    - there are many smart people, but some teams are consist of contracts who were hired urgently to fill the replacement.. and some of them are really bad...unprofessional, unqualified. but with the job security, they stay there..
    - no manager review
    - a lack of diversity

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Samsung really need to consider to let some employee go.
There're too many unqualified employees including the managers.
It will save a lot of cost.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
