    I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    There were some good people but most left on voluntary redundancy or those who didnt get lucky resigned with no pay off.
    Great that they pay for parking for all staff
    Nice "human touches" like a present at Christmas
    Superb that they still pay a Christmas bonus

    Cons

    They are not good at rewarding those that deliver- focus is more on faces fitting so keep in with the "leadership" team.
    Lots of parochialism with "leadership" team looking after their own personal interests rather than the good of the company.
    Little freedom in the UK with lots of decisions not taken in case Paris has a different view

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Look carefully at the people you have lost - you could have kept those good performers if you rewarded them with career progression
