  1.

Loved teaching the students, very disappointed in the administration.

I worked at Savannah Chatham County BOE part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Making a difference in a student's life was extremely rewarding. I had several students that had difficulty with art concepts and I was able to explain these concepts to them in ways that allowed them to be successful in the classroom.

    Cons

Administration was too interested in micromanaging the educators. Would have been helpful if they had allowed the teachers to do their job without creating unnecessary paperwork. Too much office politics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to stay focused on the achieving the obvious outcome of educating the whole student rather than promoting their own career path.
