I have been working at Savvis full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Pay and benefits are fair, no complaints. The merger with CenturyLink will likely create many more opportunities.

    Cons

Legacy Savvis is not for a person with family or a life/hobbies. Staying afloat and still enjoying a work / life balance is near impossible. You are expected to work at 2am, and be back at work the same day for your "8-5". Highly unorganized in regards to internal processes, such as IT improvements, and efficiency. Internal communication when there is a breakdown is non existent.

    Advice to Management

    Drive efficiency and eliminate handoffs.
