    Pros

Great company with a great history and great products. New leadership really cares about employees and has a great vision for the future - although the changes may negatively affect some.
And the benefits are awesome - health, dental, vision, 401K with company match, life insurance, excellent discount on Schwan's products, and the occasional company perks like free pizza or ice cream, company picnic, and free tickets to a game or movie.

    Cons

With the constant flux the company has been in for several years, it is hard for corporate employees to know what's up next. You keep your fingers crossed that your job will be safe. I'd love to move up in the company and progress to the next level, but it's hard when you don't know what might happen next - what if you step into a position that's deemed expendable. Hoping the long-term visions of the new leaders will create stability soon.

    Advice to Management

A little bit goes a long way with employees - both good and bad. We support the turnaround, but it is hard to stay committed to a company that cuts more than grows - especially in a competitive job market like the Twin Cities. Money spent on employee growth and development will pay off once the current visions are achieved.
