    Pros

    Sea Mar has a great mission and health care providers who do care.

    Cons

    Sad situation behind the scenes. CEO is growing the business fast but not providing the required infrastructure and supports, such as IT and Training and Accounting and... serious trouble in many of the departments and people are treading water. Inexperienced or unskilled workers are hired in at low wages and expected to fend for themselves, while longer term experienced employees feel taken advantage of, unappreciated, of forced to keep quiet. Numerous people have tried saying something but quit when not listened to - others have quit because they're afraid to say anything about the level of mismanagement. There are big bucks in CEO hands while office employees are crammed several people in the space for one, old leaky buildings, system computers have gone down several times due to outdated equipment so employees have to work on paper then have a huge backlog... long list of items needing attention.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Conduct exit interviews to find out the reasons all those people have left within the past year or two. Remember that your human resources drive everything - yet many feel you only care about your own priorities and goals. CEO is out of touch with how many staff are struggling and how wobbly the infrastructure has become; he is surrounded by an insulated group of supporters. Dangerous situation. Start communicating.
