I worked at Sears full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Many of the advisors are so loyal and there is plenty of parking, decent working facility.

    Cons

Communication from senior leaders does not exist, decisions are made on the basis of saving middle and upper management jobs, benefit cost is so outrageous some employees can not afford to carry it, no real room to grow in this facility, if you do get promoted; with very little notice you can be forced to take a lesser paying job and/ or reduced hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When money gets tight stop reducing the hourly workers pay and hours. People are promoted the less than a year later are forced back into entry level positions for substantially less money with little or no notice. Consider the financial hardship you put employees in when you make these decisions on a whim. The senior managers never seem to feel the impact of the company cuts in this location. Consider hiring management that knows how to communicate and does it.
