I have been working at Sears full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I get paid keep up on technology and present it the people in a easy to understand manner. Considering technology is my passion it's a good fit. My store is a smaller one so all of us know each other and work as a team. Normally training is two weeks of computer aided training and piggy backing off a seasoned team member. The schedule is normally known a week prior. As with any big company there is always a bad apple. If you find a good one like my store you will have a blast, so don't take a bad review as how the whole company is.

    Cons

None really. Full time is well....Full time availability. If your department is short handed you will do some shift bouncing from morning to nights until you're fully manned again then things go rather smooth and stable. As with any company you will have that one person who calls in last minute and they will need your help. Take it with stride as it's not the "man" out to get you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you have a bad employee or two but the rest are good talk to them about covering down the extra hours so you can purge the store of the defective team members. You'll be surprised how many are happy to work extra hours they know about compared to last minute hours because of call-ins.
