    I have been working at Sedgwick Claims Management Services

    Pros

    Some of the projects are stimulating and generally the worker bees are nice and hardworking people.

    Cons

    Management does not align itself with the company's own mission statement. There is no real respect for employees and many are severely overworked.

    Every year there is a survey that employees are expected to fill out. Even though they say it is voluntary they pretty much force everyone to fill it out so that they can get the employer of the year award. They don't even provide constructive feedback of the survey results to the employees. It is only about the numbers, not about the content.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat employees with respect and value their contributions. There is way too much bureaucracy and poor communication. This company will have larger issues as it grows because it operates in silos. Realize that a lot of your workforce is unhappy working under the current management style.
