    I have been working at Sedgwick Claims Management Services full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Flexible time off policies. There is a corporate-wide encouragement for personal growth, but that varies quite a bit by specific office and manager. Health benefits are okay, though not great. Promotions are possible, but like anywhere else, it becomes a matter of who you know and if they like you.

    Cons

    Many supervisors at Sedgwick report the need to continue their work day at home, often for 5 days a week. If you can keep yourself efficiently on task, this is a work context that you can survive. If not, then expect a very long work week and very little reward from this employer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Rates of salary increase seem to vary, account by account. One account will rationalize annual increases so as to keep everyone as close as possible to the middle point of a salary range. Another accounts may provide a large increase based on merit and performance. I've seen employees who consistently extend themselves way past the norm, to help a team or to help others, only to be given a 1.5% increase.
