The pay is good. However the company is operated more like a mom and pop store and not a billion-dollar corporation.

I have been working at Seminole Electric full-time (more than 3 years)

Good pay and decent benefits for the area.

Not a lot of advancement for women or minorities. Management forbids current employees from communicating with people who have left the company, outside of the office. The HR department is very unprofessional. Management claims the culture is that of a family, yes if you are not one of the people management views as the black-sheep.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hold upper/mid-management to the same standards expected of front line employee. Also management should avoid a witch-hunt mentality whenever employee issues arise. Positive moral will work wonders.
