Not an exhaustive list but here goes: 1) The beginning of my employment was fantastic. 2) I got to punch out and leave every day. 3) I eventually quit. 4) I took people with me when I left! (I couldn't stand to see them suffer anymore....)

Again, not an exhaustive list, but I will try and hit the finer points: 1) Management was a group of washed up wanna be's clinging to the end of their careers. 2) 70 hour weeks became the new 40! All because the production methods they forced us to use were not meant to be used in our type of environment, so they just made us work more rather than fix it. 3) No discipline. Yeah, it was a joke..... 4) No opportunities for advancement, unless you happen to be over qualified and willing to work for bananas. 5) They relied on outside companies to give advice on how to fix their broken production methods rather than ask the employee's how they could make their jobs easier.... 6) Temps are people too..... Try treating them like it.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees and respect yourselves. I know your miserable and feel like you can't make it better, but you are wrong. If it's to difficult then quit. There's no shame in removing yourself from a toxic situation. I went to Serta because it was stable and the turn over was low. Now I meet so many people who worked there since I left, and as it turns out nothing has changed. It's still the same old place. Serta was a great company once, but after it was merged with Simmons they adopted the saying "If it ain't broke, break it!" and enacted all kinds of ludicrous changes that have slowly destroyed the productivity and moral of the employees. It's not too late to fix it, but I fear with the current owners that may be impossible. All they care about is polishing the turd to make it look like it's worth more than it is. All for the love of money.... BRING BACK BOB!!!!!!!!!!!!
