I worked at Shell as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

It's Shell, name benefit on your resume
    9/80 schedule for some departments/some work-life balance
You will meet some nice filks along the way, build long-term friendships and associations

    Cons

You can do better than this in the Oil and Gas Industry
Contractors are underpaid, no benefits, non-inclusive environment
Most managers "cater" to their favorites, doesn't listen to people who actually know something
If you are an employee, you will have to "re-apply" for your job in some areas every two years or so
People playing the game to get ahead, but they never do (sell-out) mentality, especially some minorities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to listen to people who actually have experience and know-how.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
