Current Employee - Registered Nurse in Midlothian, VA
Current Employee - Registered Nurse in Midlothian, VA

I have been working at Sheltering Arms full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They are a generous company that is willing to help pay for medical services for the under-served in the community

    Cons

    They overwhelm their staff.
They frequently cancel their staff's hours due to lack of patients; When they do have patients, they assign a LOT of patients to each nurse (7 patients: 1 nurse) and overwhelm the nurses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please assign a maximum of 5-6 patients per nurse, and do not cancel nurses more than once a month.
