Good people to work with for the most part. The hourly group is overpaid for the most part at the lower classifications in the plant.

The friction between the company and the union has lead to so many processes to be followed that it makes it difficult to get anything done. The actions of a few has caused the envionment to be more hostile than it needs to be. People that won't pull their weight aren't held accountable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1) Find ways to get the ideas from the guys on the floor and put them in motion. Making this difficult has lead to many smart people with good ideas giving up on trying to change anything for the better.
    2) Get the pay grades spread apart to where they need to be. The entry level and non-trades are overpaid by a good deal. This needs to be redistributed to the A Operators and Tradesmen.
