    Pros

    Benefits, PTO schedule, work/life,

    Cons

There is no room for organizational growth, although they are a larger nationwide (with two international locations: Mexico City, Montreal, Quebec, Canada). Executive management at the headquarter location (Tampa, FL) pays no attention to "local" hospital management suggestions; and, "local" management doesn't listen to front line staff. The organization is trying to be part of the major shift in health care but they don't have the management or full support to do so. The organization needs to have leadership - which is missing - from almost all aspects.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to front line staff suggestions. These folks have just as good - if not better - ideas of making the organization better, and more competitive in the industry. Stop hiring baby boomers for management roles; bring in young individuals and mentor them; allow them opportunity to make the difference in the organization. There is so much talent within the organization that is untapped and wasted. These people will leave if you don't start engaging them, as well as empowering them.
