    I worked at Singapore Airlines full-time

    Pros

    Large organisation benefits. Friendly staff. Image.

    Cons

    Extremely Poor managerial skills. Very political environment. Old-fashion minded, changes implemented are not up-to-date and competitive enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Treat every employee with the respect they deserve, they are not slaves. Stop using harsh words on your staffs, it is highly unprofessional.

    2. Look around, identify 'non-working' managers, they should not be here in such difficult times.

    3. Stop looking at only 'protecting' your own position, look at the org as a whole, to improve and progress.

    4. Too narrow minded, unwilling to accept change (at all). If any change is being implemented, it may not be necessary, or not cost-effective.

    5. Work needs to be done, so is work-life balance. Demanding your employees to do OT after office hours/on weekend is ridiculous.

    6. Managers off-loading pressure they receive to junior AOs & Gen staffs.

    7. Managers unable to accept opinions.

    The worst place to be in.
