    Pros

Growing industry recognition. Understands the needs of the customer. Great investment opportunity.

    Cons

Non-existent training for new engineering hires. Design work equates to copy and paste in order to yield lowest risk outcome. Don't expect to do anything new until you reach director level status. The unrealistic schedules only stress people out and result in disappointment. There is very little incentive to stay should a better opportunity come along.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't hire new people if you're going to treat them as a threat to your schedule. Stop sending the "you don't matter" message every time your new hire asks a question, we're all playing for the same team. Assign mentors who actually have the time and desire to mentor.
