I usually felt I could trust the information shared down from my manager. He was great at both the business strategy and mentoring and developing his employees.
Turnover at the senior management level made priorities and opportunities shift. There was noticeable tension and competition (unhealthy) between the functional pyramids.
Advice to Management
Be more consistent with strategy and model transparency and collaboration. Keep retail store employees well informed and feeling like they are heard.
