Where to start? As a relatively junior employee, I was made to work evenings and weekends, without so much as a thank you or a tiny hint of recognition. Time off was next to impossible, leading to high stress levels. No training offered, rubbish work/life balance. Oh and it was apparently perfectly OK for me to be forced to stay and work late every night, and weekends, but the ONE time I came in at 9.10am instead of 9am (ohhh the horror) someone noticed and ran to the CEO - making my life VERY hard. But it was OK that I'd worked a full day the previous Sunday? OK then.
I was angry about the way I was asked to leave, which was done cack-handedly, and I was consistently lied to. I felt like I'd been put in the bin, and there was no warning, nothing. Just "see ya, you're not needed any longer".
Yes, do and come work here if you get off on being treated as a slave, need no sleep, and don't like weekends. I wouldn't let my worst enemy work here.Advice to ManagementAdvice
