I would recommend anyone to work at SmartWatt if you value having ownership of your role and responsibilities.

I have been working at Smartwatt Energy full-time (more than a year)

SmartWatt is a fast growing company that offers it's employees the ability to own their job functions and constantly improve processes. After learning and understanding the business model and company culture, it feels really great to be a part of something that is so successful. My team has a very open-door policy; If you feel like something should be changed or needs improvement, don't keep it to yourself. Discussing solutions and process improvement is rewarded and looked upon highly here.
Team success and hitting goals are rewarded and broadcast on a frequent basis. We have a company newsletter and blog that are always showing who is doing a great job.
I don't have a problem with my work life balance. I do my job, I have the results to show for it, and if I need to work a little harder and longer I do it when I can. Family comes first - and SmartWatt is very family oriented.

I would like to be able to interact with other offices more. I had the opportunity to meet other office members at the holiday event last year. I know that is something that will continue happening.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lead by example. If you want your employees to have a healthy work-life balance, then do so yourself. The same can be said for peers. I think the majority of managers at SmartWatt follow this rule of thumb.

    Positive Outlook
