I worked at SmithBucklin full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

they are good at what they do. employee culture is big there. HR team is great.

    Cons

staff is very insular. They do not easily welcome newcomers. Sales staff is not Diverse. Comp plan is dreadful. Team leads are often not qualified to lead.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the capped commissions so you can fairly compensate people. your current plan will not attract a traditional salesperson. Maybe someone who comes from the non-profit world will be happy with your wonky comp Plan.
