Former Employee - Personal Trainer in Milwaukee, WI

I worked at Snap Fitness part-time for more than a year

    Pros

As a trainer I had access to 800 members
    Clean facility
    Friendly staff and members
    Non intimidating gym
    State of the art equipment
    Flexible scheduling

    Cons

--I only got paid for personal training sessions. Assessments, paperwork, generating and calling leads and light cleaning I was not paid for, but I helped out anyway.
--The manager promised me floor hours where I would get paid to do all of that, but it never happened
--I was not trained on how to sell PT so I struggled awhile getting clients, and management had no idea how to do it either.
--No opportunity for advancement in the company
--No benefits even if I was a full-time trainer, pay was decent though.
