Former Employee - Food Service Manager in Milwaukee, WI

I worked at Sodexo USA full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Helping Seniors in a food service environment. It depends on who the General Manager is and also the District manager has an influence on the work culture.

    Cons

Long hours of 60 plus hours a week! I believe the new general manager was brought in to cut expenses and remove managers who had a high salaries. I had a very successful career of 16 plus years until the new management regime came in. I was micromanaged to get me out the door with performance plans. After jumping through hoops I was still terminated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Check on the culture that a General Manager is creating to make sure the management team isn't being abused. There was no work/life balance or compassion under the new regime.
