Sodexo has a large number of accounts all over the US and internationally including Schools, Hospitals, and Corporate sites. If you fit in with their culture there is a wide range of options for advancement and/or relocation. There are many talented good hearted people working as mangers and other senior positions on the site based level.
SEnior management even at regional levels seems to be out of touch with the practical day day needs and realistic concerns of providing good safe food and consistent food to clients. Perfectly good product your customers have come to love can be removed with no warning from your shopping lists. Leaving servers at a lose to explain why their favorite menu item suddenly has changed for the worse. There defiantly seems to be an inner-siders old boy network at management levels as mangers with lacking skills sets or records of theft from account or clients get shuffled safely off to other positions
Advice to Management
Stop focusing on lofty but empty rhetoric about opportunity for all and blind attempts to raise profits by saving pennies here and there with out considering the consequences. How much money got spent on rebranding by removing the 'h', was it enough to justify switching from a functional payroll service to one that could not handle the basic tasks like making sure health care benifets were covered for employees who get temporary layoffs due to for scheduled school vacations at their job site?
