Benefits, paid vacation, extended time off if working in campus dining. Paid sick time. New management training from corporate.
Unfair or different treatment of lateral managers. Good old boys/girls club. If you haven't been there for awhile, you can't possible know what you are doing. No direction given from the D.O. or G.M. if it isn't right, they don't care if you have never been trained on something, even if you asked for training.
Advice to Management
You need to talk to hourly and lower management. You can't possible know what the client wants if you are never on the floor. Treat hourly employees better. Give them better wages. They deserve it.
