    I have been working at Sodexo


    The work itself is not too difficult. During my 2 and a half years on and off there, I moved from dishes, to kitchen, to having a sortof tenure in the pizza corner. I was recently rehired after taking a few months off to focus on an internship, and upon my return they gave me a raise, let me pick me own schedule to work around my other job, and let me choose where to work. I've given them lots of effort and time over the last several years, and they have respected that by treating me as a valued employee and friend.

    Most of the people I work with are also quite nice. Some of them who have been working there longer have quarrels with each other, but I manage to stay on everyone's good side.


    You smell like butt after a shift, but such is kitchen life.

    Making mac&cheese pizza is the bane of my existence.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to staff a little better during the beginning of the year. I know you rely a lot on workstudy kids from the school, but being stuck alone in the dishroom for the first weeks of the 2013 fall semester while you hired new people wasn't fun.
