I worked at Software Guidance & Assistance full-time for more than a year

To be honest, the only positive is that I learned quickly that I was making a mistake. SGA became my benchmark for making sure I didn't make the same mistake twice.

There are way too many people who cannot be trusted. You might as well throw professionalism and confidentiality down the drain. In addition, there is a malignant culture of old time employees who have created a "mean girl" type environment. Last but not least, management can be very condescending and now that I look back, it is quite comical considering the managing director has never opened an account in his life and in fact has been fired from more accounts than he has opened. O well- the joys of marrying the owners daughter.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Avoid the office gossip and try to minimize the negative "mean girl" office culture. There also needs to be a set of standards which should be followed by all members of staff.
