    Pros

    Great to work with the strategy of service and support of legacy and new technology, including 4K UHD products. Was able to manage specific business models with autonomy and local leadership.

    Cons

    Continual downsizing due to shrinking consumer electronics market share, which results in always having to look over your shoulder wonder when you # was up. Sony Japan does not allow enough autonomy for SEL to operate based on whats best for the US market, too much dictated strategy and execution of business plans. Reduction in force has lead to the elimination of service and support roles and also a degradation in focus on the customer. NPS results have been essentially eliminated.

    Advice to Management

    Do not lose site on the importance of the customer and continue to look for ways to improve customer satisfaction and make products they want. Dont be the last one to the table with technology. Make products they play well with other devices not necessarily Sony.
