I have been working at Sony Pictures Entertainment full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Entertainment industry has a lot of Pros being a creative field. There are corporate jobs and creative jobs so there is a lot of opportunities for all depending on your area of expertise. It has a busy studio feel when you work on the lot which makes your days enjoyable. Friendly atmosphere of people with lots of perks, activities, and campus feel.

    Cons

There are talks of the studio being sold, layotffs, etc which leads to the company not taking chances in a lot of areas. Also, it feels a little too top heavy with so many EVP, SVPs and VPs with high salaries when so many others have to do more with less as people get laid off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a deeper dive into the production and day to day. Seems that senior management controls the voice of everyone when that is the voice of few.
