I worked at Southwest Airlines as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Their internship program is spectacular. Many opportunities exist to see the different departments of the business and just about everyone in the company is willing to set up a meeting with you. Lots of after-work activities exist and the benefit of free flights is great.

    Cons

Work was not always evenly distributed. There were weeks with lots of downtime and others with almost no downtime. However, as an intern, it gave me more time to explore the company and was not necessarily a bad thing.
