I have been working at Sparton full-time (More than 5 years)
9/80 schedule when it is available, it's nice to have a day off once in a while. Good folks to work with. Most of the tools needed for job.
HR is not your friend. CEO comes to plant and announces that the company has once again had it's best year ever, and as soon as he leaves, we are handed a 2% pay increase, not what we were expecting. Pay is not up to competitive companies in the area, several Engineers have recently left for local companies for at least a 15% gain.
Advice to Management
Try being honest with employees. COMMUNICATE! Pay employees what they are worth. Gut the HR department.
