I have been working at Splunk full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great product and great customers. Community is awesome and sharing of references internally is good. Industry has taken notice of trajectory and given positive feedback.

    Cons

Management at times does not have all employees in mind. Favoritism is rampant and promotions from within are near non existent unless you are at HQ.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to make sure that your management team manages fairly and equitability. Allowing members of a team to come and go as they wish and only managing by the KITA and fear principle is not how to motivate employees.
