Excellent Discount Policy. You always get a good look at the numbers so no surprises. Bonus structure is in line with other companies and it gets paid out monthly. Reward program for customers is pretty good.
Stingy with payroll. Always got to do more and more with less and less. Extremely difficult to retain talent. The most support you will get is the worn down lines of "it is what it is," and "call another store that is getting it done." POS system is pre-historic; therefore, return transactions take forever. There is a huge disconnect between corporate directors and the reality on the trenches.
Advice to Management
Invest in associates. One can not retain good associates when you can only schedule people three times a week. Training is inadequate. Why push for a short computer training and expect associates to be "certified" in technical stuff??? You can not be running stores with a 4% payroll to sales and expect high customer satisfaction. There is no body in the stores to assist.
