    I have been working at St. Jude Medical


    There is a lot of opportunity to improve the business and the IT organization and someone with very strong relationship skills, a strong engineering background and a mandate from senior leadership will succeed.


    If your relationships are contentious then there is a strong chance that you will not be backed by leadership and they will not tell you. There is no mentoring and training is lacking.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Quantitative analysis does not carry enough weight within the company therefore emotive proposals tend to have more success than ones that improve the greatest number of people.
