    I worked at Staples full-time (more than 3 years)


    My coworkers were excellent employees.


    Once I was in the management training program, I was privy to the information that the "Carrot and Stick" motivation method is something they actively promote. In other words, they tell their employees they will move up soon to get them to stay despite sub-par pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider giving your employees something else to be excited about other than empty promises.
