I have been working at Staples part-time (More than 3 years)
-Depending on the Store Manager, great leadership and flexible scheduling. -Vision and Dental for PT Associates -Strong company culture on Customer Service over selling and simply being a retailer.
-Cap on 25 hours for part time associates (if available) -Understaffed most/if not all year round; High turnover rate -Lots of cross-over training between departments is basically required, not enough staff available. -Underpaid for level of expertise required to perform daily tasks
Advice to Management
-Be more selective during hiring process; reward associates who excel in customer service and company metrics to retain great employees.
