    I have been working at Staples full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Easy to learn, easy to be hired, techs make okay pay for starting out, great school tuition bonus if you've worked there a while. Decent benefits if Full Time.

    Cons

    Management constantly changing your goals, upper management is rude at best. Constantly changing priorities between phone sales, PC support, Savings passes, customer satisfaction, warranty sales, etc. No consistency and they care very little about how they keep piling and piling work on with little to no help. Very understaffed in every store because of constant hour cuts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider your employees when you push us to sell things or focus on things. Maybe mobile is failing because Staples doesn't advertise phones or because people go to Staples for office supplies, not cellular phones. Don't keep piling work onto people without giving us the hours and means to do so, especially in very busy stores.
