    I worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Flexible hours work partime at home, benefits, office parties

    Cons

    NO communication, all supervisor Staff out of High school, No at home support your just a number and a drone to man phones. No growth, your brought in to Man phones for a few years and then they Mill you out like a Puppy Mill and get new people in to do the same job at less pay. I have become friends with several professionals who have worked and were let go for no legitimate reasons. Just forced out....... You are employed at will here as well. Staff in beginning of employment con you with lies and bribes giving you gift cards you don't even now how you earn. All to Con and try and keep you until they can find a way to replace you. They make you believe they are a wonderful Company and have great values it was all lies. If you disagree with your Supervisor (who most likely will be young and out of High School) in a professional way and are to immature to handle it,, they will Pit against you and find any way to get rid of you. They route fake callers to your line to abuse you,, yell at you to sabotage you. Pure mental abuse to torment you so you lose it NO LIE! Very immature Staff that you report too. Cant state that enough! Bottom line they are fakes please don't be fooled by this company and all the promoting of perks they say you will get! You will never meet the quota and earn any payout. NEVER not matter how good you are.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire qualified professionals that have been working for quite some years not these High School kids you have as Supervisors. Believe your new hires when they tell you about problems or issues. Consider more communication as everyone there is on a different page no solid answers with Supervisory Staff all have different answers.. Don't lie to new hires and falsely lead them and Mill them out. Stick to your polices and don't blackmail employees!
