I have been working at State of South Carolina

    Pros

Working with people with disabilities is rewarding. The agency staff really does care about they serve. They are committed to the clients and to the staff as well. It is a tough job but worth it.

    Cons

There is very little money. Everyone is underpaid and there is nothing to be done about it because it is a public non profit which means it is broke and barely hanging on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try harder to compensate your troops. Morale is important and no one went there for the money they took the job because they want to help. Even if it is pizza once a month. Appreciate your staff.
