I have been working at Steria

Within the project that I work on management let you get on with a minimum of interference. There are annual performance related pay rises and you can get external training. Work/life balance is ok, and you get to go home on time most days.

There is a lack of information about what is happening on other parts of the project and within other areas of the company. Finding other opportunities within the company is difficult. Too many internal processes are being offshored to India. The company is bringing in a "career framework". So far it has avoided to much large company BS, but I'm afraid it may head down that path.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tell your staff what is going on in the company and listen to what they tell you when you ask for their opinion.
