When a family trusts that we will take care of their family members now and in the future is very rewarding. Seeing people in my community I have helped and having them recognize me and express appreciation is a pro.
Not even sure where to begin... management only cares about the numbers, not the families or their staff. Company philosophy is "get the sale" although they call it "serve the family" There is no way to prevent mangers from stealing your sales, cherry picking leads and lacking integrity. Upper management could care less who writes the contract as long as it's written. Unless you either are now or are willing to be sneaky, deceitful and morally bankrupt and have the ability to eat crap, lose money to others and not care that there will never be fairness in opportunity, you'll want to look elsewhere. If you are already or willing to become a shady, dishonest and greedy sales person come on and apply you'll probably climb the corporate ladder with this company, just check your morals at the door, you won't need them here.
Advice to Management
Nothing anyone says or suggests will be taken to heart, there is no heart in this company. I'll give it shot though-stop the anything goes as long as you get the sale mentality, tell the truth at interviews because you will work 6-7 days a week, call nights and holidays and if your location allows you to claim all your hours-lucky you. Stop the bullying of your sales staff, intimidation does not motivate. Get at least a few people with integrity to be in management.
