Good company- difficult for women and minorities to advance in field service

I worked at Stryker full-time (More than 8 years)

*Senior leadership responded well to feedback from employees (with tenure) *Company definitely advances from within

A con of working for Stryker is what you would expect from most companies who has mid level management that is comprised of college or post professional athletes. Outside of sales, there is diversity, but still a heavy "good ol boys" presence, which makes being a woman AND/OR a minority more difficult to advance.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to the talent your employees/ potential new hires have instead of their looks and athletic history.
