Great pay, nice coworkers, stressful work environment

    I worked at Suddenlink Communications

    Pros

Great pay for a call center. Training starts at $9.00. I was making $11.00 once I started on the floor. Great benefits, (free cable and Internet) only paying for modems and cable boxes. Good training month long in a classroom like environment and helpful supervisors who were there to answer all my questions. My coworkers were kind and they did the best to make it a fun environment. With games, contests, and themed parties. Free treats and merchandise handed out often!

    Cons

stressful job, constantly being yelled at by customers on things beyond your control. Back to back phone calls little time for a break. Mandatory overtime during outages and other cable/ internet complications. Required sales (difficult for those of us who are not much of sales people)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Honestly, you guys are doing your best giving the stressful work conditions of a cable and internet provider.
