    I worked at Sullivan & Cromwell full-time for more than 8 years


    There's a lot of hours and money to be made (within reason) as a Legal Assistant/Staff Attorney, if that's what you want. Though, b/c of the economy, I may be overstating things. I was there during the "good years."

    Generally, if you do your work and you're detail-oriented/careful; you'll be fine.


    No room for growth as a non-Associate . . . . but, perhaps, some Associates feel the same way?

    If you want to look for growth and "climb the ladder" as a support staffer, based on my experience, I'd go elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Does it matter? I was there for years; "in my day" management wouldn't listen to advice unless they thought it'd bolster their bottom-line . . . . . "that's the way it was, and we liked it."
