    I worked at Support.com full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Work from home, schedule posted, usually a month in advance, limited growth good work/life (speak with your supervisor). Great training!

    Cons

Supervisors are constantly monitoring your screen and online activities. Select portions, or clips of your calls, are taken out of context to be used to keep you in control, very easy to be written up by a 'monday morning quartetback' because their matrix system is so full of needless repeating what the customer has said, this is adding to the time the customer has spent on hold..making the person very mad.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut the matrix 'fluff', you represent a very interesting client with a history of bad customer relations, we're trying to win back, and retain their services even though they dispise the client. So stop nickle and diming the matrix because the client seems to want it that way, rember the client came to you for help, they need help because they screwed it up, so don't follow everything the failure of a client wants put into the 'script', mininize the bs and help move the customer along without asking and repeating their answers. It only brings us down to the annoying clients level. Grow a pair!!!
