    I worked at T-Mobile part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Opportunity to make really great money even when only working part time. The managers I have worked with were really good about accommodating schedules for school or other jobs.

    Cons

    Extremely competitive sales quotas that are determined by using the district average as opposed to the store average, so when working at a location that has low traffic, it can be quite challenging to reach your monthly sales goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    While I was working here, I saw the company make some pretty huge changes in how the stores were managed and the direction in how we interacted with our customers. I saw the changes as being beneficial to both the employees and the customers. As for internally, it seemed the best stores had managers who provided their employees with support and were always there to help if you needed them. These managers were not the one's who micromanaged, which showed the employees that their managers had faith in their ability to do the job they were hired to do.
