I have been working at TD Bank

I've enjoyed my nearly five years with the the bank. I come from the heritage TD Banknorth part of the now much larger bank. There has been no period of consistency since joining because of the buy outs and acquisitions. It's been exciting being on the ride thus far.

Still areas that need additional staff in order to balance the workloads for a better work/life experience. Too many contractors instead of permanent staff can make you feel insecure in your own position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The age old problem of having meetings just to have meetings. It is 2011 and the need to sit around a table in a conference room is not always needed. On-line sharepoint sites, instant messaging, and e-mail can fill the void of these meetings in some cases. Yes it is nice to see people face-to-face occasionally, but the time I see management in meetings and not accessible to the troops in the field is disappointing.
